“…if you like to call it “evolution,” do. The next step is here. You can become one of the new men in Christ if you like. Or, if you prefer, you can refuse the step and sink back.”
As globalist kingpin Zbigniew Brzezinski wrote in his 1970 book Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era, “The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values.”
George Orwell, C.S. Lewis, Aldous Huxley and H. G. Wells were all contemporaries. Each of them, through their various literary works, contributed to the debate – or lack thereof – on the rising power structure of scientific tyranny. In their lifetimes, the project for the technetronic era was set into motion.
C. S. Lewis’ 1945 book That Hideous Strength ties in ideas that he put forth in another of his works titled The Abolition of Man. Hideous Strength is a work of fiction set amidst a supernatural battle between good and evil.
The book revolves around the National Institute for Coordinated Experiments (NICE) and the organization’s plot to seize control of all life.
Lewis writes, “What should they [the elite] regard as too obscene, since they held that all morality was a mere subjective byproduct of the physical and economic situations of men?… From the point of view which is accepted in hell, the whole history of our earth had led up to this moment.”
What exactly is this profound moment Lewis refers to? In short it is a time when mankind “transcends biology”. It is a revolution against the natural order. Interestingly, Lewis was one of the earliest writers to denounce transhumanist philosophy. He wrote that the elite of society will merge with technology and eliminate the masses which they call “dead-weight.”
Lewis wrote in 1945,
“A few centuries ago, a large agricultural population was essential; and war destroyed types which were then useful. But every advance in industry and agriculture reduces the number of work-people required. A large, unintelligent population is now a dead-weight. The importance of scientific war is that scientists have to be reserved. It was not the great technocrats of Koeingsberg or Moscow who supplied the causalities in the siege of Stalingrad. The effect of modern war is to eliminate retrogressive types, while sparing the technocracy and increasing its hold upon public affairs. In the new age, what has hitherto been merely the intellectual nucleus of the race is to become, by gradual stages, the race itself. You are to conceive the species as an animal which has discovered how to simplify nutrition and locomotion to such a point that the old complex organs and the large body which contained them are no longer necessary. The masses are therefore to disappear. The body is to become all head. The human race is to become all technology.”
We are no longer in an age of normal politics. Tucker Carlson has touched on the sense that we are living in these unprecedented times in a recent speech. Carlson said in part, “We’re past the political stage. Nothing that is happening now can be explained through conventional political terms,” Carlson said. “There is no upside to the great trends of our age. So why are they doing that? What you’re seeing is evil done for its own sake.”
While trans activism paves the way for transhumanism, artificial intelligence is providing tools of manipulation the world has never seen. The technology, as it is being developed now, will serve to suppress humans in every way imaginable.
While artificial intelligence will never know what it is to be “human”, it will know our weaknesses and how to exploit them. It will know exactly how to draw us into the digital trap.
Facebook, Amazon and others are using unwitting humans to teach and expand AI systems.
The “next step” has already arrived
The state of degeneracy of modern day civilization has provided the power structure with a “moral justification” for a planned assault against humanity to eliminate “dead weight”, rather than inform and inspire individuals to change.
Humans are not soul-less machines. We have immortal souls, innate value and potential. We defeat death not by merging with machines, but by fighting for our children’s future and willingly aligning ourselves with God. Rather than completely turning against technology, it can be used to expand mankind’s reach to other worlds.
Our civilization is made up of individuals, each one of them with free will and untold potential. Our conscience and morality stand in the way of an iron fist exercising its power through its various branches of control, all of which consist of human beings like you and me.
The solution begins with individuals deciding to think for themselves, leading by example, and carrying the fire of humanity and virtue and right principles into the future. The world is in desperate need of these people. You are the answer.
We need to believe in ourselves again, fueled by a confidence that we are doing the right thing and following God’s law.
While C. S. Lewis wrote of the transhumanist philosophy, he also planted seeds for resistance.
He said in 1944 that the “next step” in human “evolution” had already arrived.
What was it? Lewis writes:
“Everyone’s heard of evolution, how man evolved from lower types of life. And people often ask, “What’s the next step?” “When is the thing beyond man going to appear?” Some imaginative writers even try to picture what the next step will be like, but they usually end in nonsense about men with six arms or wings or something of that type.
But the Christians think those people are on the wrong tack. The next step has already appeared. The next step is from being mere creatures to being sons of God. The new kind of man appeared in Christ, and other new men, little “christs,” already to be found sorted here and there about the earth.
We Christians don’t call it “evolution” because we believe it isn’t something coming up out of blind Nature but something coming down from the world of light and power and knowledge beyond all Nature. But if you like to call it “evolution,” do. The next step is here. You can become one of the new men in Christ if you like. Or, if you prefer, you can refuse the step and sink back.”
